    Special twice-cooked adobo and home-style dishes at the White House for Kadayawan

     
    This Kadayawan Festival, your all-time home-cooked, full of flavor favorite dishes are back at the White House Fusion Cuisine and Wine Lounge table.

    On top of the menu are the Twice-Cooked Pork Pata and Pork Belly Adobo with Mashed Liver, and the Kare-Kare made from a combination of sautéed roasted rice, Ox tail and tripe.

    Also on the Kadayawan menu are Binagoongan Baboy, Chicken Adobo with Liver, Bistek Tagalog, Chicken Adobo, Chicken Galantina, Daing na Bangus Belly with Salted Eggs, Laing, Ginataang Sitaw at Kabasa at Hipon, Suman, Bibingka, and Puto Bumbong.
    The White House’s bestsellers, Lumpiang Ubod and Turon, are also on the menu.

    These are food straight from the White House kitchen—prepared generously to be had during the whole month of August as a Kadayawan Festival offering, along with the regular Bento boxes menu, the delectable degustation, and the feature Yakitori where you pick your own food to grill—from Salmon Kushiyaki, Chicken Kushiyaki, Seabass Kushiyaki to US Hanging Tenderloin Kushiyaki, and Pork Garlic Kushiyaki.

    Chef Cathy Binag, co-owner of The White House, said the menu is in response to incessant requests for the best home-style Pinoy dishes to be included back on the menu.

    The Filipino dishes were first offered during the Kadayawan Festival last year.

    “We are bringing our Filipino dishes once again for Kadayawan and we promise that the dishes will satisfy your cravings for perfect home-cooked dishes that you can never find elsewhere,” said Binag.

    Binag said everything on the menu is her family’s favorite.
    “These dishes are special as these are always present during family dinners and we want to share them to others,” said Binag.

    The White House Kadayawan Festival White House experience would not be complete without its delightful desserts, including the bestseller Yamamoto Cheesecake and the new addition to the array of sweet temptations that include Calamansi Sorbet, Durian Yema Cheesecake, Strawberry Cheesecake and Mango Madness Overload.

    “The White House home kitchen, as always is yours to enjoy, as we have always promised. Here, it’s not only the food, but the whole dining experience,” said Binag.

    Binag also announced that starting this week, as a Kadayawan treat, the White House’s famous Pinoy merienda will be offered for take-homes and ala carte orders—still from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
