United Ebony Society partners with Gwinnett Heritage

The United Ebony Society of Gwinnett County, Inc. has partnered with the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center to bring to you, 'The Civil War Event at the Yellow River Post Office.
This event will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 10:00am-4:00pm.
The Yellow River Post office is located at 3519 Five Forks Trickum Road, Lilburn, Georgia 30047.
The United Ebony Society will have guest speakers educating visitors about the important contributions of African-Americans during the Civil War.
Visitors will have an opportunity to explore the slave cabin; learn about their daily lives; artifacts; and important skills that slaves provided.
Shuttle service will be available to visitors due to limited parking at the Yellow River Post Office.
Marantha Baptist church will have additional parking. The shuttle service to and from Yellow River Post Office will be available at the church located at 3340 Five Forks Trickum Road, Lilburn, Georgia 30047.
The church is approximately 0.3miles (less than 1 minute) from the Yellow River Post
This event is for the entire family! Come join us for an educational day that will enrich your knowledge of African-American Heritage and the overall history of the Yellow River Post Office.
