    10 Arts Bistro tasting dinner at the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia


    The Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia sits proudly in Center City adjacent to City Hall. Housed in a classical building formerly a bank, the hotel's 10 Arts Bistro restaurant pleases diners with farm-to-table offerings showcasing local specialties from regional providers.


    I had an amazing seven-course dinner, featuring samples of various specialties. The first picture is the amuse bouche, a watermelon gazpacho, compressed watermelon, buttermilk gel, peaky toe crab, basil.


    Next up, the cheese course, local Round Top Farms Camembert, roasted and marinated beets, strawberry puree, candied pistachio, pumpernickel crumble. A salad course was next (not pictured) with rock octopus Nicoise, duck fat braised octopus, haricot verts, egg gel, crispy anchovies, olive jus, crispy fingerling, tomato.


    The appetizer photo is next, Prawn Lejon and braised pork belly, horseradish espuma, espellette lacquer.


    The fish was next, snapper, citrus, cilantro, basil, chili, bonito flake.


    The pre-entree is shown next, Caputo Brothers Burratina, local heirloom tomato, saba riclette balsamic, extra virgin olive oil, basil.


    Next is the entree, a Lancaster 28 day Aged Strip, Tuscan faro, stewed kale, local eggplant, heirloom cauliflower, tartuffo cheese.


    Dessert is the last course, peanut butter brioche pudding, whipped peanut butter, milk chocolate ice-cream, candied peanuts, chocolate croquant.


    We then have a photo of the Ritz-Carlton facade and finally the spacious and stylish dining room, formerly the bank lobby.
