    The Next Schwarzenegger

Viktor Modec was born on 22nd of January 1987. in Zajecar. Mother’s name is Svetlana and father’s Dragan Modec. He had finished primary and secondary school in Bor. He inherited his love towards music from his mother, who was a choir soloist at Music school "Mokranjac" but most of all from his uncle whose life evolves around music, precisely keyboards, as he is the main „culprit“ that Viktor has chosen that instrument. From an early age Viktor accompanied him to his concerts, carefully watching and hoping that one day he might participate in them. That had a major influence on Viktor and eventually made him fall in love with original folk music and continue in his uncle's footsteps. All the circumstances in which he grew up contributed to him starting to experience music seriously at an early age. During high school Viktor was a member of "Big 3" band, where he was the leading singer and keyboardist. Then, at the urging of his father, he went to Belgrade and decided to study at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He graduated in the year of 2011 with an average score of 9.2. Him completing college and receiving a degree in mechanical engineering is in some way the continuation of the family tradition from his father's side, since both his father and grandfather are in the same profession. But in his time of studying he has not neglected music, and whenever he had the time he would perform both as an individual and a member of a band. He performed both in his country as well as abroad.

He won several awards and diplomas that point out his efforts to preserve the traditional folk music. In 2013 he released his first CD titled "Bulevar ljubavi" with original folk songs dedicated to his family. When asked, he likes to describe himself as a creative mechanical engineer whose life evolves around music.
