    Tell us the Good Stuff!

Thanks America: From a Kurdish American

Thank you, America, for helping, protecting, and supporting the plight of the oppressed people of Kurdistan! This support really, is a support for the plight of oppressed people all over the world, which in essence is the principal of the American people’s values. This is reflected in the petition on Whitehouse website, “Support Kurdish Independence,” which is created by J. S of Poughkeepsie, NY. According to http://rudaw.net/english/world/290720141, J. S describes himself as, “ordinary high school student”! This is a good example of the kindness and good heart of American people.

We are witnessing, a very rare and historic event in which all of America (the people, both the judicial (congress and senate) and executive (Government) branches, and the US media) are in agreement, to support the people of Kurdistan plight for freedom. This is in line, with American values and principles—life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. In the meantime, the same values and principles, also, are applauded by the UN and all freedom loving nations of the world. It is important to mention, a sincere appreciation to CNN and all its anchors and reporters for thorough and continues coverage of the event and providing and explaining the situation the suffering of incent people. Special thanks to Ivan Watson, CNN reporter in Irbil, Iraq, for his excellent coverage of the events. I salute to you all.

For a change, America is on the side of people, not corrupt governments. Actually, it is a proud day for our armed forces and their families, because their sacrifice has not gone waste.

I am hoping and praying that USA will continue to support and help Peshmerga Kurdistan forces, by supplying them with the necessary arms to fight and defeat the evil forces. This will accomplish our values and principles; it is in long term interest of US, and in the mean time, gaining a very faithful friend for US and its allies, in the region. Please, kindly, say Amen.

I am, now more than ever, very proud to be an American. Way to go USA.
