Sturgis, Mississippi Motor Cycle Rally 2014

This is a view of some of the Motorcyclists, from nearby Sturgis, Mississippi Motorcycle Rally, riding through Highway 15, in Maben, Mississippi, Saturday Morning August 16, 2014, at 9am.
This rally, held in Sturgis, Mississippi, 18 miles west of Starkville, and Mississippi State University, began, a few years ago, and this year's rally, is the 1st in 4 years.
Some people say, the rally was stopped, because of local politics, in the small town of Sturgis, whose population is less than 1000 people.
But, with the election of a new Mayor, and city board, and cooperation with The Sturgis Motor Cycle Board, the people of Sturgis, welcomes the rally.
The rally began on Friday August 15th, and runs through August 16th, with many cyclists staying on until Sunday August 17th.
Many cyclists began coming in as early as Thursday August 14th, some riding their motorcycles, and some coming in RVs
In the park in Sturgis, were held concerts by some well known music groups, along with some locals.
The Rally, if it is like it was in the past, will bring in 1000s of people, from many states, which will increase the business in the entire area, as people will be looking for motels, campgrounds for RVs, and places to eat.
Also, while in the area, there are many attractions, people who come to the rally can see, such as the nearby Mississippi State University, one of the top rated Engeneering schools in the USA, and the Columbus air force, where many pilots have been trained for war, and many other attractions.
Many of these cyclists shown here, riding through Maben, and riding through other towns, will stop somewhere in these towns, for snacks and a short break, and then back to Sturgis, for the activities there.
