Ben Zoldan: Antoinette Tuff, Lost Art of Storytelling and the Media

Ben Zoldan Interview: Antoinette Tuff inspired author and storyteller Ben Zoldan to dig deeper into the lost art of storytelling in Media.

Zoldan is interviewed by Kersten Kloss about how mainstream media is overly focused on conflict while "true stories" are left untold.

An event that profoundly changed Ben Zoldan's view on storytelling was when bookeper Antoinette Tuff was thrown into a life threatneing situation led when a heavily armed gunman, filled with rage and despair, stormed her school in California.

Her instinct told her to open up to her aversary, sharing personal life stories while gaining empathy and trust with the unbalanced, out of control, young man. This saved her life and likely the lives of dozens of others at the school.

She gained the respect and trust of the gunman by opening up and sharing personal stories that aligned her with the troubled man.
