Passing the Test: The Truth About HIV Tests
With the increase in people living with HIV and AIDS, there has also been an increase of educational resources available on the subject. However, despite the wealth of knowledge that many people have gained on the virus, many still seem misinformed about HIV testing procedures: does the test hurt? are there needles involved? how long does it take to get results?
In this "Being Black in America" HBCU Tour Contest iReport, I attempt to dispel some of the myths about HIV testing procedures by providing facts on HIV tests, as well as filming my most recent HIV test.
