This iReport is part of an assignment:
Your view of the Ferguson decision
Ferguson....Where facts won't matter.
WAIT FOR THE FACTS!
Hmmm? But wait...
What if the facts are adjustable? Movable? Dependent on a basis which is defined differently as you sort through your witnesses.
One man's fact is another man's doubt.
Supposedly there are witnesses saying "A" while others are confident in saying "B".
Something I've said over the years many times is that facts are wayyy overrated.
Every day in this nation defense and prosecuting personnel use the same "Facts" to argue an opposing position on any given case.
Here's Reality in so many of these cases.
NO ONE (at this point in technology) can read either the police officer or the victim's state of mind before, during and after the episode at hand.
With all of our amazing technology these days,
we do the best we can and guesstamate for the most part.
One guy gets life without parole and another walks to enjoy a double fudge Sundae at the local DQ..
Such is life.
