    Flycatcher Babies left the Nest...

Wow, that was close. My last photos covering this lovely little family were taken last Thursday afternoon & early evening. By morning, there was no movement at the condo. The Mom and Dad didn't appear with a big mouth full of bugs, and there was sign of the babies.
We were a bit sad to see our little family go, but happy for the time we spent watching them.
We kept looking during the morning & finally heard the faint little voice. I looked in the nearby Desert Oak bush & saw one of the little ones sitting there. I quickly ran & got my camera & got a few pics of the baby. He/she doesn't seem too happy about being out of the cushy condo & is making it clear. Too cute. It's a tough life out there.
Maybe next year they will be back to start another family in our little condo. I will always wonder if the Flycatchers that nested in the same condo last year, were back this year.
The babies were lucky enough to have a nice cool day, as we got a Big Thunderstorm this morning. Lots of rain, thunder & lights.
