    "Ghost ride!"

    I had a wonderful day at the Coney Island Museum yesterday. Not only was it a little cool and overcast but it was the perfect day for ducking in a gallery or a museum and I did just that and got to meet Coney Island USA's artist in residence Marie Roberts and even got to visit her studio which I plan to do a report on during the week.
    I also got some photos of an old Tornado Roller Coaster car that was created in 1926 and destroyed in 1977 by a fire. It was a little eerie looking at this ride seat that seemed to bring me back in time.
    The last photo I took is upstairs at the museum and is a view through a window of the famous wooden Coney Island Cyclone that is still operating today, and I went on over thirty years ago.
    The Coney Island Museum is on Surf Ave in Coney Island.
