    Do you support Charlie Christ?

If you live and pay taxes in Florida you most certainly do! According to the Florida Division of Election Charlie Christ took 1,090,042.02 of our tax money for his campaign.

Oh but don’t worry you support the Republicans too. While there is no record of Rick Scott taking public money for his 2014 governor’s race; Pam Bondi, Republican Attorney General, received a total of 282,065.00 of our tax money, Jeff Atwater, Republican chief financial officer $343,318.06, Adam Putnam, Republican Commissioner of Agriculture $360,093.00

That is a sub total of 2,075,518.00 of our tax money! Is this a wises use of our tax money?

Apparently, the money is handed out every Friday, under the Campaign Financing law (106). The money is available only to the candidates in the governor’s and other state cabinet races. Distribution is based on the ability of the candidate to raise a certain amount of money. A candidate in the governor’s race must raise $150,000 to be eligible other cabinet must raise 100,000.00 to be eligible
