CNN PRODUCER NOTE Malissa Koven took a look around her home of downtown Napa, California early Sunday morning and posted her photos originally to Instagram: 'I woke up to a massive long lasting shaking in my house around 3:20 a.m. and heard everything in my house shatter and fall. Anything and everything that could fall, did. I heard my neighbors calling for me and went outside in the pitch dark along with everybody else to see if we were all ok. Everything and everyone in Napa was affected by the quake. My house along with everybody else's, is a disaster, it looks like somebody broke in and ravaged the place, room by room. Everybody's house has been internally, and most externally, very extensively damaged. I noticed cracks all along my house inside and out, and then I got a call from a friend down the street to find out that his neighbors' house was on fire. I heard never ending sirens since, saw a lot of PG and E trucks trying to fix snapped power lines, pieces of houses all over the place and then went for a walk downtown with my dogs because I couldn't sleep. And the tremors were unsettling. That's when I saw the post office building had cracked, the local hardware store was destroyed with layers of shelves that had fallen over and busted the windows, multiple buildings had fallen apart, and all the local businesses looked trashed on the inside and out. This was a serious quake!'
