The related numbers are striking: 3 000 metres of material were needed along with 2 000 metres of hem. The flag of Unity weighted more than 200 kilograms and was flown separated into 4 parts symbolizing different ethnic regions of Lithuania. It is counted that more than 2 000 people have contributed in the carriage of the flag to the Cathedral square.

The tricolour was made by Jaunimo organizacija DARBAS (Youth organization LABOR) along with the author of the idea director Erikas Druskinas.
