Tell us the Good Stuff!
Inside the Emmy’s Governors Ball and Netflix Party and After After Parties
I’ve been to many of the Governor’s Ball but this time it was packed. If you didn’t have a table allocation you weren’t supposed to be there, as there was literally no room for you.
I ran into Emmy winner Aaron Paul “Breaking Bad” multiple times during the day and evening. By this time at night at the after after-party for Netflix he must have grown tired of holding his Emmy. I was able to hold Stuart Archer’s “The Colbert Report” Emmy and it is heavy. I can only imagine how heavy it was for Emmy winner Moira-Walley Becket “Breaking Bad” gave new meaning to being 2 fisted holding 2 Emmys all night for people to take photographs of her. Shall we call her Wonder Woman?
The Emmys are a black tie event as are the after parties. Seeing child actors Mason Vale Cotton “Mad Men” and and Maxwell Perry Cotton “Brothers and Sisters” takes Oldecam back to the days when he did his first appearance as a child actor at an awards show in formal tux with tails. He remembers the “oh so cute” multiple references to him and still cringes at the thought. When you’re called so cute in your tux it never goes away.
Fashion designer Sue Wong celebrates with actor/producer/and new celebrity columnist Vincent De Paul “House of Cards” and Director of Business outreach from Washington D.C. Elizabeth Webster and investor Nan Ying.
Designer Sue Wong was later joined by actors Carlos Ramirez “Silver Whinings Payback” and Burgandi Phoenix “Speed Dragon”
Vincent De Paul “House of Cards” with actor Aaron Lee and the Netflix entourage at the Netflix after party.
Derek Hough “Dancing with the Stars” is now known for his “oops” moment with Sofia Vergara “Modern Family” on the dance floor Emmy night.
