My name is Anh Brown, I currently live in Tampa, FL. I am an immigrant from Vietnam. I was brought to America when I was just 4 yrs old. Upon graduating from high school, I was accepted to Norwich University, military college of Vermont. At Norwich, I was able to get the best of both worlds; an education at a military college, and a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army upon graduation. In 2003, my company was sent to war in Iraq. After 8 months of deployment, we finished up and came home. In 2004, I was sent with a detachment to support Operation Iraqi Freedom. I finished up my time in the military as an Army Captain. I am proud of my time of service, and now as a civilian, I want to do something to honor my fellow veterans.
