    House of sixty-four years marriage

    What is the proof of their happy marriage aside from plaque (that is displayed in the front of their native house) given to them by their community? Take a look at their simple house... Have you noticed something interesting?

    Yes, the skulls of animals... The countless numbers of skulls hung in front of their simple abode that bonds them for 64 years of happy togetherness... Each skulls represents every ritual they have done for good and for worst, for sickness and in health...(The skull of every animal they offer for every ritual to preserve and celebrate their bonding)...

    After 61 years of happy marriage, Aclibon Dumapi and Buclog Dumapi was awarded as the longest married couple in Hingyon, Ifugao. They received a plaque from the Municipality of Hingyon last September 12, 2007. The husband died last 2010 wrapping up their 64 years of happy marriage.
