I Am An Angry Black Man, Not for the reasons you might think!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Veteran iReporter Rajiim has had negative experiences with law enforcement, 'but not all bad,' he says. 'The system works as well as the people in it. Get rid of the bad seeds and the crop will grow.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

It took me several hours to fomulate my thoughts on this subject, here they are.

I am angry black man, but not for the reasons you might think. I am angry because I am so tired of small groups of idiotic people taking the forefront of what supposed to be peaceful protesting. Last night in Ferguson Missouri it was announced that a white Police Officer Darren Wilson would not be indicted for the killing Michael Brown an unarmed young black male. A small group of agitators have used this incident to justify destroying public property and private property in the community in Ferguson Missouri. The same individuals endangered the lives of peaceful protesters and those of the media. They threw bottles, rocks, and even shot guns in the direction of the innocent bystanders as well as police who were forced to put on the riot gear. They burned my American flag. I am a black man, I am a red blooded American and I am a United States Air Force Veteran who fought for the rights of those innocent individuals who had the constitutional right to peacefully protest their disagreement with the decision made by the grand jury on this case. Both the parents of Michael Brown, the Governor of Missouri, and President Barack Obama asked and pleaded with the community not to Resort to this mentality of riots and looting in the streets of Ferguson Missouri. What did this rioting and looting solve? Nothing! People have lost their jobs, their businesses, their way to support their family all because a small group of idiots felt like this was the way to make their point about Police killing Black people. The family of Michael Brown did not want their son's memory diminished and turned into a catalyst for destruction, sadly their words we're not heard by this small group idiot's in their community. Many people wish to say that this incident was race related. I'm speaking about the incident where police officer Wilson shot and killed Michael Brown. I knew neither individual. I will say this much, if an individual is angry and violent as Michael Brown was alleged to have been to the point of slamming a public servant with his own car door, punching him in the face repetitively, and putting this public servant's life in danger, this officer acted accordingly. I am NOT racist. I don't care what color you are. If you endanger my life or my family's, I will end yours. I am a happily married man, my wife is white. I have no ill will toward anyone. I only wish that more people thought and acted like me. I have friends that are afraid to say anything on this matter because they are afraid that they will be labeled racist. I say to you all stand with me. We can cause change if we stick together. Racism is not completely gone, but we can sure kick it in the ass and live happy together as Americans who only see red white and blue.
