    Christkindlemarket Timeless Memorabilia

The Christkindlemarket at the Daley Plaza brings to mind timeless holiday recollections of my own collector's Crystal Tree Ornaments I purchased in Berlin in 1996. For the last 18 years, the Christkindlemarket brings a Taste of Germany to Chicago wih European holiday treats, pastries, chocolates, and delectables goods at the Daley Plaza until December 24th, the night before Christmas.

Holiday visitors can find unique handmade treasures , Christmas ornaments, hand-crafted nutcrackers, German Cuckoo clocks, toys, European chocolates, Bee Honey Products and many other wonderful and amazing surprises at the Christkindlemarket.

Also, while browsing through more than 50 vendor booths at the 18th Christkindlemarket, I found authentic German Cuckoo Clocks, just like the one I had in my Lombard living room, an original timeless Cuckoo clock made in Germany.

The largest traditional German American Christmas market is visible at the Daley Plaza in Chicago to bring the spirit of Christmas to the Midwest in the USA.

The Christian sense of Christmas is recreated by the display of the three Magi's Melchior, Gaspar, and Balthasar, during the visit to the Nativity with Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus in the creche at the stable surrounded by shepherds, farm animals, camels, and birds.

Others celebrate a Happy Winter Solstice during the birth of the Unconquered Sun as the TRUE reason for the season, as noted in their banner sponsored by the Freedom From Religion Foundation.org

Side by side, the large Menorah display marks the beginning of Hannukah for the faithful.

The month of December brings a closing for the year celebrating the holidays around the world.

Santa Claus visits with the children every year at the Christkindlemarket. Ho! Ho! Ho!

Season's Greetings To All Creatures Great And Small!
