Comedian Don Barnhart Puts On Staged Reading Of The Interview In Protest To North Korea

Last night, award winning comedian Don Barnhart and several of his comedy friends got together to hold a table reading of the interview in defiance of North Korean threats.

Barnhart said, "If we, as Americans don't go see a silly comedy because a country like North Korea tells us not to...how are we going to react when a country threatens to harm us unless we cover our women up and stop letting them vote or something even worse???"

As a symbol of freedom and as a way of supporting the filmmakers, Barnhart turned his holiday party into a theme of Mockery Of Kim Jong Holiday Party and held a staged reading of several excerpts of The Interview. “Being told what we can’t do by a dictatorship country is not in our constitution,” said Barnhart.

Besides the reading of excerpts from the film, comedians including Barnhart, Keith Lyle, Steve McInelly and others got up to read the best of the latest Kim Jong jokes from the comedy talk shows.

This was done in defiance of those that would try to oppress our freedoms. We ate, drank and then told Kim Jong jokes... Special thanks to the brave souls that came out risking personal health and safety to stand strong in Freedom!

Barnhart joked, "I wonder if this is how our forefathers felt when they dumped tea in the harbor as a protest to the British.

Only hours after the mockery, Sony announced a limited release. Barnhart added, "Only to theaters in states that heavily support the 2nd Amendment."
