This iReport is part of an assignment:
Do you live in a small space? |
Village in France
Just spent a year traveling Europe with my 15 year old son. Bought the high top van/motorhome in Germany, built the traveling office trailer. At 150 square feet we had everything from satellite internet and entertainment to complete bath, kitchen, LP fired generator and plenty of storage.
Hot, cold, rain, snow, sun, country, city, mountains, ocean. Occasional campgrounds but mostly stayed where we pleased.
Cost money up front and we saved a lot on the way. But the freedom was priceless. I would still be living this way but my son had to get back to school.
I'll tell you the truth though. I am not sure I would have loved it so much if we didn't have dinners out and the occasional hotel.
