    Remembering Leonard Nimoy

Leonard Nimoy - Lived long and prospered.

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     These billboards seen around the Atlanta area have gone viral on Twitter over the past day. Very little is known about where they came from, but they pay tribute to the late Leonard Nimoy, saying 'He did' live long and prosper. At least three billboards are known to exist and jdrafanan came across one Sunday in Atlanta. UPDATE: The billboard company Outfront Media (formerly CBS Billboards; CBS owns 'Star Trek') were behind the tributes: 'As a company, we at OUTFRONT put up the boards. Lead by our Art Department we decided to pay tribute to a man who lived long, and prospered. Millions of fans globally loved Leonard Nimoy. Our medium, with its ability to communicate almost instantaneously, would be a great way to display a fitting and timey tribute to the man, so we dedicated our boards to promote the simple yet effective message. We’re glad it’s being noticed!'

This is one of the digital billboards seen in midtown Atlanta honoring the spirit of Leonard Nimoy. I love the simplicity and truth of it. Taken on Howell Mill near Trabert Avenue, the billboard is two sided and displayed the image in both directions. I saw another one nearby on Northside Drive as well.
