Our last trip on the Queen was from New Orleans to Cincinnati from April 18,2008 to May 2,2008.The river was running high and we were towed to the confluence of the Mississippi and the Ohio river safety was always on the mind of the crew if you need to talk to me I was the safety crew at the Glendale Hilton hotel I know the rules and regs. for hotel and other types of types of vessels that person can go on busses , trains , planes .boats ,and ships.The safety on board this ship was the most important thing on the minds at all times as far as I could tell.Ther was no smoking in cabins and inside areas and only on deck at certain areas with ashtrays to use I do have pictures of the crews do safety checks if you need them for a story.and pictures of the Mississippi River at flood stage.
