    Lost Australian Boy Found Alive After Five Days


    An eleven year old Australian boy was found alive who went missing during a family camping trip five days before. An autistic boy was last seen on Good Friday, which after missing spotted by the police helicopter, precisely before noon, strolling in rocky terrain and almost two miles away from the location where he was camping with his family.


    After Luke went missing, his parents ignited an extensive police search and warned them about their child that Luke might not know that he has been missed because of his autism.


    Luke’s parents helped the researching team of police by informing that their child likes to hide in small spaces and gets fascinated with water.


    The police found the boy from the bushes over the stretcher and reunited with his family before that he was taken to the hospital for basic health checkups.


    According to officials, Luke was found about 11:55 am on Tuesday off Skyline Road. The Victorian police also released some footage of the moment when the search crew spotted Luke in dense bushland. The footage showed Luke calm and sitting on sloped ground with his legs straight out.


    After rescuing Luke, Rick Nugent, acting assistant commissioner of Victoria Police told the reporters that he was suffering from dehydration, exhaustion and hypothermia.


    It was not only police crew who took intensive part in the search for the autistic kid but also dozens of holidaymakers had joined the search. The police officials later thanked all those individuals who provided community support for Luke’s search.


    For Luke’s parents, the return of their child, safe and well is a wonderful news and an absolute relief as well.
