This iReport is part of an assignment:
Remembering MLK |
Martin Luther King Day
I'm glad Martin L. King did what he did to set equality straight. But he wasn't a powerful enough man to do it without the help of God. I think he would have gotten his point across alot sharper, if he left "the lord" out of his speeches and life.
If God really cared about him and his cause, then he wouldn't have been gunned down by Federal Government in the 60's.
But other than that, i'm happy to have had a day off, every year of school and work since i been born.
MLK will disappear into holiday obscurity along with Washington, Lincoln and others.
Thanks MLK, you the man!
