Living in a Bus Conversion called "Dolly's Pride"
In April 2007, I moved from a 2,000 sq. ft. home in Whitehouse, TX to a 40 ft. x 8 ft. Prevost bus conversion. Since then, my husband Ed and I have traveled over 15,000 miles in US and Canada. Moving from place to place makes living in these tight quarters acceptable because we spend a great deal of time outside experiences new places like the Gaspe Peninsula, Banff National Park, Cajun country in Lousianna, the Texas Rio Grande and Oregon coast. We've simplified by getting rid of all the extra stuff. And, I've turned the kitchen table into my personal office. Even though the cost of fule is high, this lifestyle is less expensive when you calculate: mortgage, property taxes, utilities, lawn care, homeowners insurance, and all the sutff it takes to furnish a big house. When we get tired of the neighborhood, we just drive away.
