    Earthquake Babies in Nepal

Nurses and doctors at Patan hospital in Nepal have delivered 160 babies since the earthquake. This includes 45 caesarean births and four babies born during the quake.

ActionAid heard that Patan hospital had skilled local staff ready to do their jobs, but needed the medical supplies and equipment to do so.

So ActionAid has given Patan hospital £50,000 for much needed medical supplies and equipment for a new operating theatre.
