    Europe's wealthiest land in minerals oil and coal worth $3 trillion

    Albanian Minerals President and CEO Sahit Muja in New York said Albania and Kosovo has over $3 trillion dollars worth of minerals, oil, natural gas, coal and lignite.
    Albanian Minerals Company with partners in USA, Germany, Japan, China, India and Sweden for 15 years has done a full geological and chemical research on natural resources in Illyrian land, Albania and Kosovo. The conclusion of Albanian Minerals research as of June, 2015 showed that Albania and Kosovo has one of the world’s largest mineral untapped wealth.

    Sahit Muja said, “Albania and Kosovo is one of the wealthiest lands in natural resources per square mile in Europe. With amazing beaches, mountains, rivers, lakes, forests, and rich soil”.

    “Kosovo is very rich in minerals such as lignite, zinc, lead, gold, rare earths, bauxite, tin, silver, magnesium, aluminum, asbestos, limestone, marble and quartz, chrome ore and much more Kosovo possesses around 50 billion tons of lignite in reserves, one of the world’s largest lignite reserves. Kosovo, has one of the world’s largest reserves for lead, zinc, and silver. Trepça was the leader in Europe in the mining of lead, zinc, silver and gold”. Sahit Muja said.

    Mr. Muja added that, lignite in Kosovo has huge potential with new technology. The technology is called Transport Integrated Gasification, or TRIG, and was developed by Southern Company and KBR, .This technology converts lignite to gas at a much lower temperature than traditional coal conversion, resulting in significantly lower costs than what’s possible with existing gasification technologies. The Kemper facility will employ two KBR TRIG gasifiers to produce clean coal energy.

    Sahit Muja said, “Over 90 percent of Albania and Kosovo’s natural resources remain unused, its large reserves of natural resources worth trillions of dollars are a great potential for future economic development in Albania, Kosovo and Europe”.

    New York based CEO, Sahit Muja said, Albania is home to the largest onshore oil field in Europe, also huge untapped reserves of oil and natural gas in offshore fields on Adriatic and Ionian Seas. Albania has the largest magnesium reserves in the world, largest chrome ore reserves in Europe. Albania has huge reserves of bauxite, nickel, cobalt, iron ore, gold, chromium, antimony, coal, manganese, phosphates, tin, rare earth elements, uranium, platinum, copper, vanadium, salt, rare and much more.

    Sahit Muja said, “Green energy potential make Albania one of the world’s most promising land for future generation, Albania has the potential to build 2000 hydro-power plants. Wind and solar energy sources have the greatest potential after hydro-power. Albania has huge and powerful winds from low sea levels to the Alps. Albania has some of the strongest winds in world. Albania has incredible potential in solar energy.The Mediterranean country has one of the best numbers of the sunny days in the world”.

    Sahit Muja pointed out that, The European countries and Serbia should never forget that those who have closer economic relations with Albania and Kosovo will prove to be the profit-makers in this region. Albania and Kosovo remains committed to joining the EU.

    Sahit Muja said “European politicians are ready to ignore their countries’ long-term socioeconomic needs in order to respond to the short-term religious and cultural fears of their constituencies. Millions of Albanians women and men are already in European Union making huge contribution on economic growth and development..
    Albania’s and Kosovo’s EU membership would be nothing new, and present no dangers, culturally, politically and economically”

    “We need courageous European politicians who will develop a new vision of Albanian- EU relations, who will remind their citizens that Albanians by virtue of its human and natural wealth, geography, history and natural position are a major asset for Europe and for its future”.

Thousands of scientists worldwide are considering magnesium a next big thing in energy storage. Center for Energy Storage Research Director George Crabtree has emphasized magnesium-ion battery advances as one of the initiative’s most promising advances.

    A team of material scientists at Pohang University of Science and Technology in South Korea announced what they’re calling one of the biggest steel breakthroughs of the last few decades using magnesium: New type of flexible, ultra-strong, lightweight steel.

    Scientists at Pohang University made a steel that takes advantage of B2’s hardness and austenite’s ductility. By adding nickel and temperature-treating an alloy of iron, aluminium, magnesium and carbon, they induced smatterings of B2 to form evenly throughout the steel. The resulting material, in which the hard B2 lattices reinforce the supple austenite matrix, has impressive tensile strength

    This new metal has a strength-to-weight ratio that matches even our best titanium alloys, but at one tenth the cost, and can be created on a small scale with machinery already used to make automotive-grade steel. The study appears in Nature.
    “Because of its lightness, our steel may find many applications in automotive and aircraft manufacturing,” says Hansoo Kim, the researcher that led the team.
