This iReport is part of an assignment:
Ask Sen. Obama a question |
What I would ask Obama:
If I had the chance to ask Obama a question. I'd ask him what he would do about urbanization, over developing, conservation of land, and animals. I'd ask him to help slow down the new developments being popped up by Toll Brothers, and perhaps even set up a department designated for de-construction. For example if there is a neighborhood that's falling a part, and no one lives there any more, why not tear it down, plant trees and some walk ways for a park.
We don't need one plastic town after another. We need to conserve the land and if population control is the solution then so be it. We need to stop giving tax breaks to families that keep having babies, instead tax them more as they are using more resources than the smaller families.
It would be great if some of these issues got some attention on the executive levels.
The above picture is a mountain in VT, showing piece of non-developed land.
