Sharknado 3 - Tara Reid interview

The art of reacting to the various sizes of sharks, when they are not actually there and the fun of shooting Sharknado with Tara Reid at the International Comic-Con in San Diego.

Sharknado is the resurrection of Tara Reid's career. In a sense, you could call her the Matthew McConaughey of women. She always worked a lot but never found the project that would set her aside from other people similar to McConaughey.

Reid is now a cult hero. In Hollywood there are several paths to being remembered and having a long career, one is to be a great actor or actress and be awarded with Oscars, second is to become a cult legend. An actor with an Academy Award is always expected to do performances worthy of an Academy Award, but a cult legend is always expected to overact and chew up the screen and live on forever at sci-fi conventions.

We are personal friends with cult legends in the industry and they do better as cult legends than they ever did as straight actors and they have more fun.

In reality, an actor that spends a lot of time doing green screen work, also referred to as CG is a far better actor than what they're given credit for as they have nothing to react to, it's all pure acting on their part.
