Dusk, Mountain Life and The Doe

We moved to the mountain rising above Historic Harpers Ferry WV last November.
Not until late spring did the deer make their way to our property.
Once they came around we have had four that visit about every day
One doe in particular is extremely social. She has been coming around every evening at dusk to clean out my bird and squirrel feeders and mess with my gazing ball and garden ornaments. Each morning I have to locate the gazing ball and place it back on the the stand.
She is not fearful of me and allows me to sit on my back steps to photograph and video. I am sure she visits other homes and has some human interaction. The other deer are very nervous.
Although I would love to feed her from my hand, I do not get close enough to do so. I will take out an apple or some kind of fruit or veggie treat for her but just place on the ground for her to pick up.

Mountain life sure has it's perks. We wouldn't trade it for anything.
