    Travolta Fever

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Did the music of the 1970s inspire you? Do you have souvenirs or did you attend concerts? Share your memories and images.
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

The 1970s were all about Disco. And this dance craze became even crazier with the blockbuster movie, Saturday Night Fever.

In 1977, John Travolta skyrocketed into stardom after playing the role of Tony Manero, the weekend dance Casanova of Brooklyn.

This double record came out after the movie hit the theatres & as you can see, played on it's name. Hence, Travolta Fever!

My favorite part is the album's cover. The entire double sleeved record opens up to give us a centerfold-like image of John Travolta, disco dancer, singer, 70s fashion icon?? Well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad! :)
