Dr. Ben Carson visits New Hampshire on August 13th

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     On Thursday MichaelVadon traveled to New Hampshire to attend Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson’s campaign events. The day started off with a meet and greet and ended with a town hall meeting. “Ben Carson is a rising star and I believe if he doesn’t run as the Republican candidate, he will be the VP,” said Vadon, who is from New Jersey. Vadon travels often for campaign events and attended one for Donald Trump. “Trump runs the campaign like a business and is very no nonsense,” said Vadon.

Some months back I did not believe Dr. Carson would be where he is today in the polls. However, several months later I am very impressed by what I am seeing. His performance in the debate against experienced politicians like Bush, Rubio and the rest was very impressive. His events seem well attended and even sold out. His Facebook page is now well over 2 million likes and Jeb Bush has not even crossed 1 million. He has a lot of potential.

What has propelled him forward is an aggressive grass-roots campaign. At every event I have attended whether Dr. Carson was there or not were supporters of Dr. Carson. Dr. Carson's campaign contributions have come from small donors...individuals like you and I. Its quite obvious many individuals want Dr Carson to succeed. In comparison, it looks like many corporations want both Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton to succeed. Most of their campaign contributions come from large corporations, large organizations and maybe even foreign nations.

I sincerely believe we need a man like Dr. Carson in the White House either as the President or in some other position. If Trump were to be the Republican candidate, he should choose Dr. Carson as his VP. However, I believe Dr. Carson might just win the Republican nomination. At this point in time anything is possible and I keep my mind open.

Dr. Carson is a role model for all. He grew up in a poor family within a poor neighborhood in Detroit. He had no connections, no backing and somehow he found a way out and up. He cant be compared to Obama in that regard. Obama grew up in sunny Hawaii and did not have the same experiences as Dr. Carson.

My hope is that Dr. Carson will make it into the White House.
