    Rafting Through The Grand Canyon

During Labor Day week I took a 7 day motor raft trip through the Grand Canyon. From the river is a perspective many people don't get of the canyon. The bottom of the canyon is a paradise of caverns, waterfalls, and incoming streams. Havasu creek is a beautiful aqua blue creek flowing into the canyon. Amazing the feeling of joy you get standing in a waterfall. The rapids provide excitement and the wildlife is also fantastic. The river starts out clear and ends up a muddy brown color as more thunderstorm fed streams dump muddy water into the river. The river starts out clear because it's the cold clear water coming out from the Glen Canyon dam that creates Lake Powell. I'm going to prepare a separate iReport of bighorn sheep I photographed on the trip.
