    Welcome Pope Francis

In recent times the world has been such a dwelling of unrest and turmoil. The humanitarian crisis in the Middle East and Europe, to the political mud-slinging and bi-partisan hatred in America, to Global Warming, to Epidemic of Cancer, to fighting poverty, to fighting racism and inequality. It truly is a Breath of fresh air to see a symbol of Peace the Pope Francis to arrive on American soil on September 22, 2015.

I am an American Muslim, but I am so elated to welcome the Pontiff Pope Francis to America, how can you not welcome somebody that is a representative of good-will and Peace. Pope Francis’s presence will bring a much needed salve like calm to a nation that is always in a tiff about immigration, and discrimination. How beautiful then that the Pope’s lecture will be delivered in his native tongue of Spanish, this should be a message to all to tolerate and love each and every dialect and people of the world.

No matter what race, what walk of life, or what faith you practice, I think the most important thing to learn here is that we all belong to the Human race and we all need love, respect and understanding and promoting Peace and not hatred towards one another and looking at the similarities and not bickering over the differences, we can all live in a better world. Pope Francis is the living example of what we should do for our fellow humans, not just those that think like us or look like us, but everybody, because we all breathe and bleed in the same way. We also need and love in the same way.
