Ask Sen. Obama a question |
Obama's Stance on the Palestinean/Isreali Conflict
Senator Obama,
I'm a tad bit confused about your stance on the conflict between Palestine and Israel. As a Senator, you always showcased support for the Palestinians: their right of return, a Palestinian state, and so on. However, since your Presidential Campaign, there's only been talk about your support to Israel.
So I ask you, what is your stance on this conflict? Would you sit down and negotiate with both sides equally, even though on the Palestinian side America doesn't like Hamas in Gaza but their people elected them to office? Do you agree or would you go forth with the two state solution that has been agreed by both sides but not put into any form of action by the Bush Administration?
Just note that this question does not come from someone of Palestinian decent, but of a concerned American citizen.
Thank you,
Hala Abdoun
