    The Walking Dead Experience

Tonight I walked straight into the world of The Walking Dead. How did I do that, you ask?

I received an invitation to attend a special sneak peek of the newly created "The Walking Dead Experience - Chapter 1" which is being unveiled at Walker Stalker Atlanta, kicking off this Friday in Downtown Atlanta.

What I was able to see and do left me wanting more and although I cannot give away too much of what I saw, I will tell you this - if you and I are in the zombie apocalypse together, I am not above leaving you behind if I have to.

Walker Stalker is in it's 3rd year in Atlanta and has grown each year, upping their game and bringing more for attendees to see and do, and The Walking Dead Experience is something that all fans of the show and fans of horror or fright in general need to check out.

This full immersion experience is the brainchild of Robert Kirkman's company; Skybound, as they partner with theatrical experts Michael Counts and Katie Fleming and of course, The Walker Stalkers.

As you navigate your way through the world they've created, you will quickly forget that this isn't real, and that you must get out alive! Working your way through two 53 foot trailers that contain both live actors and the latest in 3D technology allows you the participant to really get a good feel for how they would react if put in situations that are shown in the comics and the show.

The creators wanted people to come out feeling like they have just experienced what it would be like to watch and participate as the zombie outbreak unfolds. I've never experienced something so heart-pounding and exciting as this and walked out of there feeling like I knew a little bit more myself as potential survivor.

Walker Stalker officially kicks off on Friday, at Georgia World Congress Center and runs through Sunday, capping off with a fan viewing party Sunday evening.
