    All Blacks Given Heroes Reception

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     makarabeach says he waited for two hours at the Parliament grounds in Wellington to see the parade celebrating the All Blacks' Rugby World Cup championship. He's a rugby fan and says his great uncle played for the All Blacks in 1919.

New Zealand's victorious AllBlack team was given a rapturous reception in their Capital City, Wellington, this morning. A big crowd gathered at New Zealand's parliament to welcome them on their start of a city wide drive through. Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall were also there to greet them. Charles raised a laugh when he said he travelled thousands of miles to be here but next week goes to Australia whose team New Zealand defeated for a first back to back win of the Rugby World Cup. "What the hell will I tell the Aussies?" quipped Prince Charles. It was a brilliant sunny day for the AllBlacks reception. Ireporter Dave Ross filed this raw video of the event.
