    Paris Mourns

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     APizm witnessed Paris before and after the attacks in his recent trip: 'As I walked up to the Place de la République, where the images were taken, you could just feel the thick somber mourn in the air. You could see blank faces on people walking around. A hundred people were there but no one was talking. I saw both old and young there to give respect. Everyone had brought flowers or were lighting candles. It was a very hard time for me to photograph as I felt it was really a personal and private time for people to reflect and mourn for their loved ones and their city.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

The République in Paris still has notes on it from the Charlie Hebdo tragedy in January. On Saturday night, 24 hours after the senseless attacks in Paris, it is once again a meeting point to reflect and remember the lost in the attacks. As you walk up, you could feel the heavy somber mood in the air and the pain in the faces of the people mourning. It's easy to fall in love with the beauty of Paris but it's real beauty is in the people that live in it! The world is praying with you Paris.
