Oregon Voting
Much talk has been going on about early voting, but little has been discussed about Oregon voting. Here, we don't have to wait in long lines or worry about pressing the right button on a touch screen or hanging chad, nope, here in Oregon we just draw a line connecting the arrow by the name we want, and in the privacy of our own home. Oregon is the only state with mail in voting. This means we get our ballot in the mail, fill it out at home - some of us even have voting parties where people talk about the issues and then fill out the ballots. Then we can either mail them back in or drop them off at a ballot drop spot. The attached pictures are of myself voting for the first time in a presidential election, and needless to say I'm excited. I voted for Obama as I point out in one picture.
Thanks, CNN. Keep up the great work and opportunites for average people to share their stories.
Thanks again, CNN for choosing my story! I am really flattered!
