Fans React: Phillies Win World Series

I wasn't following my superstitions at the end of the game. Where once I thought not watching brought the Phillies good luck, I kept my eye on the television, and they still won.

I had my camera ready and a blank tape still in it's wrapper. I didn't want to miss any action, but I didn't want to jinx the game by getting all my camera equipment ready before the game was actually over.

I walked up Broad Street and around City Hall documenting the celebration as it became more and more chaotic.

With so many people, it was very difficult to keep the camera stable for most of the shots. But people were mostly very friendly, they helped me get up on platforms to shoot from above, they asked me about and complemented me on my camera.

So even with all the chaos you see in the footage, there were more than enough nice people that balanced things out.

EDIT: Please keep in mind that there are people as far as the eye can see who are NOT doing bad things. I've focused on the chaos in this video, because that was what drew my eye at the time.

[EDIT: This morning I walked up Broad Street. Aside from boards on Robinson Luggage's and FYE's windows, the city basically looked untouched. No trash in the streets. Every massive plant holder (the things people were setting fire in) were turned right side up. No defaced property. Things were 95% back in shape.

I've heard a lot of talks about overturned cars, and that may very well have happened, but I did not witness that.]
