USA Presidential elections debated live on local Romanian TV
Local TV station Antena 1 Braila (220 000 inh. East Romania, on the river Danube, close to the broder with Ukraine and Moldova), member of Antena 1 national network, will host Saturday the 1st of November, a live debate with PhD Prof. Doru Tsaganea of the Metropolitan College New York on the American Presidential Election process. This debate comes as the last of a series of events organised this week at the American Cultural Centre in Braila and at the local University "Constantin Brancoveanu" in which Prof. Tsaganea conferrenced on American present-day issues such as the elections and the economic situation and their potential impact on Romania. The events benefited of an important media coverage in local TV and newspapers, underlining the signifficant interest that Romanians have in the electoral process in the USA. Prof. Tsaganea holds 2 PhD's, one in International Relations with the CUNY and one in Applied Mathematics with the Romanian Economics Academy and lives in New York since 1983.
