Voters in Georgia, Share your stories |
Election obsessed? That's exactly where they want you to be!
So, have you asked yourself yet "what is the Bush administration up to right now??"
Well, the Bush administration is taking full advantage of the fact there is not much focus on them!!
There is 90+ new federal regulations that the White House is working to change (for the worse) before President Bush and his administration leaves office in January. Many of these regulations that the Bush administration is intending to change would reduce government rules that are designed at protecting consumers and the environment.
The new rules would be among the MOST controversial restrictions of the Bush error (yes I meant to say error not era) and they have until November 20th to meet the deadline for the publication. The Bush administration is also making it to where it would be very difficult to reverse the new rules by our next president and his administration!
Here is 'a few' of the new rules that the Bush administration is working on deregulating before they leave office in January:
-ease controls on emissions of pollutants that contribute to global warming,
-relax drinking-water standards
-reducing restrictions on pollution from power plants, oil refineries, chemical factories and other industrial plants (hello more global warming!!)
-reducing restrictions on emissions from coal-fired power plants near our national parks.
-easing rules meant to keep coal slurry waste out of Appalachian streams
-new Medicare reimbursement rules
Lawyer John Walke of the Natural Resources Defense Council said that these rules "will force Americans to choke on dirtier air for years to come, unless Congress or the new administration reverses these eleventh-hour abuses".
Matthew Madia, a regulatory expert at the Office Management & Budget watch said it is "a last-minute assault on the public . . . happening on multiple fronts."
And of course, Scott H. Segal, a Washington lawyer and chief spokesman for the Electric Reliability Coordinating Council, said that "bringing common sense to the Clean Air Act is the best way to enhance energy efficiency and pollution control." He said he is optimistic that the new rule will help keep citizens' lawsuits from obstructing new technologies."
Really?!! And to help their buddies wallets by spending LESS money to protect us AND the environment!?!
To me this is an OUTRAGE and an end-all slap in the face to American citizens by the Bush administration!!
And lets not forget that when the Bush administration was 'elected' in his first term, they were able to reverse 254 regulations that the Clinton administration implemented!!
Our next president is going to have one heck of a job to reverse everything that the Bush administration has and is still doing that will affect ALL OF US!!
Okay, so we're counting down the hours now before all of our votes are counted up!!
Let's make sure our voices are heard!!!!
I HOPE and pray that we ALL are calling/voting for CHANGE for a better life for us ALL!!
You can also take a look at what Farm-aid has to say about of our presidential candidates and their standing about protecting farmers that grow the food WE eat!!

All I have to say is that I am SICK OF THIS CRAP!!!
ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!!
Vote for CHANGE!!! or if you like, we can continue the downward spiral that we have been in for years & years but soon that downward spiral is going to turn into a black hole that we will NEVER be able to pull ourselves out of!!!!
VOTE FOR CHANGE!!!!
VOTE FOR CHANGE!!!!
VOTE FOR CHANGE!!!!
So, do you like the photo that I used??
Give a BIG ole thanks to pollution (clap clap clap)!! I guess 'W' and 'Dick' would tell me that pollution DOES have it benefits.
