Undecided Women (Only 48 hours left)

Guess what? A new report from the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press says that around 63% of this election's undecideds are women. If you have noticed, there are many undecideds in what they refer to as Battleground States...If you pay attention to polls-and how could you not? But my question (as well as a lot of other people's) Who are these undecided women? And _why _are they undecided? My final question-What would help them change their minds? This election has been going on for what seems like an ETERNITY (I know I'm not alone in this opinion) But real time-21 months. Almost 2 years. My three year old was just an infant then. (obviously) That is amazing to me. (how fast time flies) I really think, that no matter who you are leaning toward, you should realize that we have had almost 2 years to make up our minds. But amazingly enough, there is still what seems to be a large margin of "Undecideds". At first I thought (like many people do) maybe these people just don't want to admit that they are not going to vote for an African American. But lately, I've been point blank asking people what they thought about the election (The lady making my coffee @ Starbucks, the lady that cut my hair 2 weeks ago, the cashier at Walgreens...) What was absolutely amazing to me, is that these women said they really hadn't been paying much attention, and weren't sure who they would vote for. I also had to wonder if they were even going to vote or if they were registered to vote. I found that to be even more troubling. I wonder what Alice Paul and Lucy Burns (sufferages) would think, after going to prison, being beaten and force fed through tubes for our right to vote, if they knew how many women did not participate in the election process. There are those of us who have been consumed by this election, & it's really hard for us to imagine that, at this late in the game, there would be something important or critical that we don't know about these candidates. I, myself, can actually anticipate what they are going to say when asked a question, what their next line in their stump speech is going to be, etc. There are no mysteries here. What I would really like to hear from women is: What is keeping them in the undecided column? I am from a Military Conservative background, and a native to Arizona, so I can understand the draw to McCain. I am a working mother of four, so I get the draw to Palin. I am very much involved with Sustainability/Green design, so I can relate to Obama, and I come from an Irish middle class family and relate to Biden in that way. Without getting into any negative, insulting, character-bashing comments, just state the facts- the reason/s why you haven't quite made up your mind.
