GMU Email Account Hacked
My Wife and a few friends attend Geroge Mason University in Fairfax VA. Someone hacked into the Provost account and sent an email to the entire school stating that ellection day was being moved to November 5th. The school responded stating that the earlier email was a hoax. They even sent an early email warning of hoaxes.
If the email looks like it is from a gmail account that is because I have my wife's email auto forwarded to her gmail account which she checks more often.
To me this is an obvious hoax, but it does make me very angry. Many college voters may be first time voters. Even if this costs one person their vote it should be regarded as a serous crime and punished as such.
