    After 8 long years I can wake up today and once again be proud to be an American !!

    I travel alot in my work and I remember the days when I said I was an American that people were in awe wanting to know what it was like to live in such a great country that was the beacon of hope for all the world.

     

     

     

     

    I have watched over the last 8 years that diminish into  actual disgust for our great country. On some level I felt almost embrassed...as I had no answers for the direction America had taken...except to say that I too did not recognize my own country .

     

     

     

     

    For me this election had little to do with taxes even if I have to pay more, or the color of anyones skin, or the many policies set forth.

     

     

    To me this election was about making America that beacon of hope again in the world as a great country with great leadership and stewardship that I can be proud of....YES  WE CAN !!!
