Obama Wins: Philly Fans React
It was official, before it was "official". Early on into election night, it was clear Obama had won.
Philadelphians took to the streets, without loss of energy from all the celebrations a week ago when the Phillies won.
It was all peaceful, but still noisy for Obama. Cheering, dancing, waving signs both bought and homemade could be seen and heard for blocks.
I didn't stay for the whole celebration, but I could still hear the cheering from my place at around 1am. Of course, I didn't mind.
