    DC Citizens write message to Obama in front of the Lincoln Memorial

    An organization called the AVAAZ has placed a huge billboard at the foot of the Washington Monument's reflecting pool across from the Lincoln Memorial.

     

    The board reads in huge print "Congratulations, President Obama- Change won't be easy but, Together as One World, Yes We Can!"

     

     

     

    Citizens and students from around the District of Columbia are writing congratulatory statements to the new President-Elect of the United States.
