This iReport is part of an assignment:
Your Michael Crichton tributes |
truely inspirational
My reaction to Michael Crichton's death is one of profound sadness. I was a huge fan and had been looking forward to his next book for some time and it is sad that I will never be able to enjoy one of this thrillers again. His work impacted my life because it showed me that while we must treat science with caution, science is also a great adventure that shapes every aspect of human life. Due in large part to his work I decided to study physics and engineering college in order to better understand the amazing things that he wrote about. So heres to you Michael Crichton, because of you, I am a scientist and I hope to be a part of the cutting edge world of technology that inspired the stories that ruled my imagination as a child and continues to do so today.
