    As President Elect Obama and family embark on the adoption of a companion dog, we thank him for choosing adoption.

     

    Here are some facts that are good to know.

     

    One breeding pair of cats and their off spring can produce 420,000 kittens in seven years.

    If ALL were to survive and keep reproducing.

     

     

    One pair of breeding dogs and their off spring can produce 67, 000 puppies in six years!

    If all were to survive and keep reproducing.

     

     

    A Cat and Dog's Prayer

    I ask for the privilege of not being born....

    until you can assure me of a home

    and the right to live as long as I am physically able to enjoy my life.

    Not born until my body is precious and men have ceased to exploit it because it is cheap and plentiful.
